Haven't even listened yet
Can't listen to this until I download it at home, but just have to drop a line to thank Mike, Jim and the band and the archive for making these shows available.
I would not know Mermen were it not for the Archive and the band's willingness to allow taping.
As a result I have purchased all the bands recordings and have quite a number of the live shows available here. I have been checking almost daily for new live material (yes getting a life would be good, but getting new Mermen is better!!)and am thrilled that this has appeared.
Hope to see some others from this year, but this certainly works for now.
Great band. Amazing live. Rating after a listen or two.

OK, this is easily a 4 star show if only for the Malibu Jam that starts the set followed by a good Honeybomb. I especially like the Curve and a sinister Pull of the Moon, which always works on me.
Mike always does a fine job recording, and deserves extra credit for the incredibly quick upload. I'm curious if someone got the Insect Surfers set, as I see on their site that Jim was scheduled to sit in.
